Mr. Chawla is a Law Graduate from Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVP), Pune and is a practicing advocate in Delhi and registered with Delhi High Court Bar Association since 2012. He has done LL.M (Corporate Law Specialisation) from National Law University, Delhi

He is also an associate member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (Fellow Membership Applied). He is the Additional Joint Secretary of the NCLT & AT Bar Association. He has also been a member of Corporate Law Committee of Northern India Regional Council (‘NIRC’) of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (‘ICSI’) for the year 2017-18.

Mr. Chawla was recently appointed as Amicus Curiae by Hon’ble Delhi High Court in the batch matters of Letter Patent Appeals filed by Union of India filed in relation to disqualification of director writ petitions.

Mr. Chawla has also been appointed as Chairman and Alternate Chairman by Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, New Delhi (Principal Bench and other coordinate benches) for Tribunal convened meetings in the matter relating to amalgamation and demerger of companies.

He has also adjudged various moot courts in Delhi and across India and has also adjudged Corporate Law Quiz organized by NIRC of ICSI and has been taking various sessions in ICSI, ICAI (earlier ICWAI), BVP and other Management Institutes.
